Daen is a Melbourne-based recipe developer, food stylist, author, content creator, and blogger, whose passion for cooking is deeply rooted in her Spanish and Sicilian heritage. Growing up, her Spanish and Sicilian mum, along with her late Sicilian Nana, taught her the power of food in bringing people together and creating lasting memories.

Most recently, Daen is the author of Garlic, Olive Oil + Everything Else, a vibrant cookbook filled with bold, modern Mediterranean recipes. She loves crafting and sharing content inspired by her travels and the incredible moments she's experienced in places like Cambodia, East Arnhem Land, Dublin, Shepparton, and beyond.
